SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad noticeable delay
Hello,
the SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad (clickpad) on my new Thinkpad X1 Extreme Gen2 feels very uncomfortable for me to use. Large cursor movements with one finger are a bit delayed. It's worse for small and precise movements with one finger, where this delay before the cursor moves is very noticeable and annoying.
I suspect this is intentional, probably to avoid cursor movement when one tries to click down the clickpad, or to distinguish between taps and movement. However I don't want to use the click function of the touchpad (it really really sucks on Thinkpads), and the movement detection was much faster on my old Thinkpad W530 touchpad, so I suppose its possible.
Can this be fixed? Possibly by reducing the delay/threshold or making it configurable? Thank you!

Will attach libinput record
/ libinput debug-events --verbose
if asked, but I suspect you already know what this particular delay is about ;)
