regression in 1.92.0 Authorization denied to :1.130 to call method 'Claim' for device 'Synaptics Sensors': Device was already claimed

I was experiencing this problem for days, I don't think it's related to me removing my fingerprint, just the upgrade, but I'm not sure, my solution was to roll it back to 1.90.9 other symptoms was that pam/gdm seemed to be continuously trying to authenticate with a fingerprint that didn't exist even though I wasn't touching the device. I tried updating firmware, stoping and restarting and reinstalling the service.
