A bunch of ASoC fixes with a few HD-audio fixes in this pull request.
All fairly small, boring and device-specific fixes, in addition to
    MAINTAINERS update for better reviewing.

    sound updates for 3.17-rc1

There've been many updates in ASoC side at this time, especially the
framework enhancement for multiple CODECs on a single DAI and more
componentization works. The only major change in ALSA core is the
addition of timestamp type in sw_params field. This should behave in
backward compatible way. Other than that, there are lots of small
changes and new drivers in wide range, including a large code cut in
HD-audio driver for deprecated static quirks. Some highlights are
    below:

    ALSA Core:
    - Add the new timestamp type field to sw_params to choose
      MONOTONIC_RAW type

    HD-audio:
    - Continued conversion to standard printk macros, generic code
      cleanups
    - Removal of obsoleted static quirk codes for Conexant and C-Media
      codecs
    - Fixups for HP Envy TS, Dell XPS 15, HP and Dell mute/mic LED,
      Gigabyte BXBT-2807 mobo
    - Intel Braswell support

    ASoC:
    - Support for multiple CODECs attached to a single DAI, enabling
systems with for example multiple DAC/speaker drivers on a single
link, contributed by Benoit Cousson based on work from Misael Lopez
     Cruz
    - Support for byte controls larger than 256 bytes based on the use of
TLVs contributed by Omair Mohammed Abdullah
    - More componentisation work from Lars-Peter Clausen
    - The remainder of the conversions of CODEC drivers to params_width()
      by Mark Brown
    - Drivers for Cirrus Logic CS4265, Freescale i.MX ASRC blocks, Realtek
      RT286 and RT5670, Rockchip RK3xxx I2S controllers and Texas
      Instruments TAS2552
    - Lots of updates and fixes, especially to the DaVinci, Intel,
      Freescale, Realtek, and rcar drivers

    - Ditch UMS support (well just the config option for now)
    - Prep work for future platforms (Sonika Jindal, Damien)
    - runtime pm/soix fixes (Paulo, Jesse)
    - psr tracking improvements, locking fixes, now enabled by default!
    - rps fixes for chv (Deepak, Ville)
    - drm core patches for rotation support (Ville, Sagar Kamble) - the i915 parts
      unfortunately didn't make it yet
    - userptr fixes (Chris)
    - minimum backlight brightness (Jani), acked long ago by Matthew Garret on irc -
I've forgotten about this patch :(

Here includes a few patchset for fixing mostly HD-audio issues in
addition to a patch assuring the compress API bytes alignment and a
fix for the die-hard existing race condition at USB-audio
disconnection. The volume looks big in Realtek HD-audio code, but
it's just a translation of the fixup tables, and the actual changes
    are rather trivial.

    - Accurate frontbuffer tracking and frontbuffer rendering invalidate, flush and
flip events. This is prep work for proper PSR support and should also be
      useful for DRRS&fbc.
    - Runtime suspend hardware on system suspend to support the new SOix sleep
      states, from Jesse.
    - PSR updates for broadwell (Rodrigo)
    - Universal plane support for cursors (Matt Roper), including core drm patches.
    - Prefault gtt mappings (Chris)
    - baytrail write-enable pte bit support (Akash Goel)
    - mmio based flips (Sourab Gupta) instead of blitter ring flips
    - interrupt handling race fixes (Oscar Mateo)

And old, not yet merged features from the previous round:
    - rps/turbo support for chv (Deepak)
    - some other straggling chv patches (Ville)
    - proper universal plane conversion for the primary plane (Matt Roper)
    - ppgtt on vlv from Jesse
    - pile of cleanups, little fixes for insane corner cases and improved debug
      support all over

The significant part here is a few security fixes for ALSA core
control API by Lars. Besides that, there are a few fixes for ASoC
sigmadsp (again by Lars) for building properly, and small fixes for
ASoC rsnd, MMP, PXA and FSL, in addition to a fix for bogus WARNING in
    i915/HD-audio binding.
