Using GStreamer as sub project to another project - gst-env.py
Describe your issue
When using GStreamer mono repo as a subproject of another project using meson, it is not possible to use the gst-env.py
script to create the environment with the correct PATHs.
Using --builddir
pointing to the build directory of the project it find some GStreamer files but not all the necessary, no plugins for example.
Expected Behavior
I expect that when I run python3 gst-env.py --builddir ./build/
it looks for the GStreamer directory in ./build/subprojects/gstreamer
but it looks for ./build/gstreamer
Observed Behavior
Setup
- Operating System: Linux
- Device: Jetson - Xavier
- GStreamer Version: 1.20
-
Command line:
python3 subprojects/gstreamer/gst-env.py --builddir ./build/
Steps to reproduce the bug
- include GStreamer subproject to meson.build
- configure and build with ninja
- Create the environment with gst-env.py
