vaapi 'features' only visible as root
Unsure whether this is a debian/ubuntu bug or gstreamer itself, on a Ubuntu 20.10 desktop after installing gstreamer1.0-vaapi I see - ~$ gst-inspect-1.0 vaapi Plugin Details: Name vaapi Description VA-API based elements Filename /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/libgstvaapi.so Version 1.18.0 License LGPL Source module gstreamer-vaapi Source release date 2020-09-08 Binary package gstreamer-vaapi Origin URL https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gstreamer-vaapi/issues
