MSDK VPP gst_buffer_copy_deep

Hi
Under gstreamer 1.16, trying to do a deep copy of an existing buffer, in vpp_transform function after sync operation; however, this is returning the following:
GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_mini_object_unref: assertion 'GST_MINI_OBJECT_REFCOUNT_VALUE (mini_object) > 0' failed Note that replacing gst_buffer_copy_deep with gst_buffer_copy does not exhibit the same behaviour. Any thoughts?
Cheers,
