Update our dependencies to the latest versions

Martin Roukala requested to merge update_dependencies into master

Update all our deps to the latest versions, with the exception of Django which is updated to 3.2 (the latest LTS).

I am hoping this no regress anything, and will magically fix #151 (closed). Could @karolkro (or @adrinael), and @nichchoi give it a shot before I merge?
