gfxinfo / machine registration: random fixes + visionfive 2 support

With this MR, we make the registration container usable on the RISCV Visionfive 2 SBC by not crashing when the network is down, then removing the need to automatically update DBs + using the board's compatible as a base name when no GPU is found.
