nouveau 0000:01:00.0: timeout; WARNING: CPU: 4 PID: 177661 at drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nvkm/engine/fifo/g84.c:132 g84_ectx_bind+0x41f/0x430

I'm getting a frequent nouveau timeout/lockup. It often manifests itself when I am interacting with the GTK filechooser widget.

Distribution is Fedora 40, currently running the 6.11.0-0.rc1.20240729gitdc1c8034e31b.16.fc41.x86_64 kernel from rawhide. It seems other folks running on Fedora 40 are experiencing the same problem.

Video card is: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GT216GLM [Quadro FX 880M] (rev a2)

Kernel log output from boot to crash/lockup.

I'm of course more than happy to debug or provide any additional info needed.

Is there anything more needed for this issue? As stated before, I am more than happy to gather whatever additional information is necessary since this issue is constantly locking up my laptop and making it very frustrating to use Linux on.
