[TTM] Buffer eviction failed - nouveau crash and freeze
Description of the issue:
I have NVIDIA GT9500 with Ubuntu 18.04, and Kernel 5.4 HWE with constant crashes and freezes when using Browser (Chrome, Chromium, Brave). Most of the time if i kill the browser remotely, or with htop or with the "close window menu" i can regain control of the Desktop in a few minutes (3 to 15 min). Sometimes if i issue a CTRL+ALT+DEL several times the Desktop is usable again after some time around ~5min. If i can't kill the browser, i need a hardware reset.
Intensive OpenGL/OpenGL ES apps do not trigger crashes. Only the browser engine with GPU hw usually crashes. Chromium rendering seems to be corrupt using the open source driver. The previous kernel which i can't remember the exact version (still with 5.4.y), seems to have fewer crashes and was not annoying.

I have switched to NVIDIA proprietary driver and have no issues, just for reference.crash_history.txt nouveau_crash.txt
