Right panel of Dell MST monitor turned off

With Linux 5.4-rc8 the right panel of the over DisplayPort connected MST monitor Dell UP3214Q turned black/off during operation. Xfce 4.14 still thought the whole screen is there, so the user only saw half of the desktop. Can you see anything in the logs?
