      @l4kshmi have you tried connecting a different cable on the DP port? Since its link failure I would suspect the cable itself is bad

      Mostly it implies that the discussion on IRC yesterday as well as the patch posted to the list don't explain the problem. It's not about the lane count alone, and it's not about trying to link train too early or something.

      It would be a good idea to try the source with another sink+cable, as well as try the sink+cable with another source.

      Issue is no more seen with latest run CI_DRM_8211_resume. Setting Priority to low. If not seen in subsequent runs. Should be closed.
