[drm] GPU HANG: ecode 9:1:85dffffb, in Xorg

This just happened a few hours after a reboot (KDE updated). I'm running Fedora 33 with kernel 5.9.8-200.fc33.x86_64. Usually this system is very stable (Dell Latitude 7400 with i7-8665U - Whiskey Lake).

It might be just another IOMMU related bug like this older report of mine: #446 (closed) (older hardware).

It might be obvious from dmesg, but the GPU reset did not work and I had to switch to the console and reboot.

The GPU reset worked; userspace recovery not so much.

there is a working solution for #4858, mentioned in the first post. could be a different situation, but worth a try.
