[kbl] GPU hang on Blender
The iGPU (Intel UHD Graphics 620 from Intel i5-8250U) hangs somewhat consistently on a very low intensive scene on Blender. It only happens with the Cycles Render (path tracing), and when previewing the rendered scene, and not when producing a final render, from my experiments.
This might be similar to #2075 (moved) and #2162 (closed).
This happened very consistently when I was using kernel 5.7.7 and mesa driver 20.1.2. However after a full update and now using kernel 5.7.10 and driver 20.1.3, it looks more stable, but still crashes after a while.
Apart from the driver and dmesg files I also attach the .blend
file I'm working on. To reproduce the crash, simple change the view mode to "Rendered", and move the view to force Blender to recalculate the render, until it crashes.
