Same issue here, both with the previous 1:25.0.1-2 and current 1:25.0.2-1 mesa packages.

It seems to mostly affect 3d games, as I was playing Pizza Tower for a few hours and it was fine. Minecraft (via Prism Launcher) also didn't seem susceptible to the issue; currently I've had the display freeze on FFXIV, From the Depths, and Satisfactory.

In my case, since I have multiple monitors, only the monitor displaying the game freezes; I can still use my secondary monitor, though I have to reboot to get my primary monitor back. Alt-tab window previews and sound output reveal the game seemingly continues to run in the background underneath the frozen display.

< Getting a similar issue, just browsing the internet with firefox and watching youtube videos. As far as I'm aware there was no 3d/gaming load. My main monitor (displayport, 360Hz 2560x1440) freezes while I can still interact with my second monitor, eventually ending with my entire system locking up requiring a manual power-cycle. Issue is infrequent, maybe once per week?, has occurred multiple times over the last couple of months, but Ive only managed to catch the log this time as the lockup causes my logs to not save usually.>

mesa (and lib32-mesa) has been updated to 1:25.0.2-2. The issue still occurs.

I was able to recover without restarting by switching to other tty with ctrl + alt + f3, and then running (equivalent of) kill kwin_wayland [1]. That of course kills wayland and all the apps using it (games, IDE, firefox and so on) so not sure if it's much more useful than just rebooting, but maybe?

[1] I'm on zsh, so tab-completing kill kwin allows me to kill the correct id.
