Skipping frames / stuttering every second or so, Ryzen 5 7540U (Radeon 740M) on ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2

See attached slow-mo video running glxgears. Notice how it periodically "skips ahead" a frame.

This is reproducible with any app, including browser (scrolling or testufo), games (tried UT99), my own OpenGL project, etc. Using internal laptop display, on eDP-1. Happens both on X11 and Wayland. Tried also on plain Openbox without a compositor to be sure, and it's also reproducible there. Tried setting UMA framebuffer size in BIOS manually (the only available display-related setting), no effect. Tried amdgpu.sg_display=0 kernel commandline option, no effect.

Running Arch, with latest everything. Kernel 6.11.8, mesa 24.2.7, X.org 21.1.14, KDE 6.2.3.

Yeah I agree, will mark it as such.

The workaround mentioned in that issue seems to help (amdgpu.dcdebugmask=0x10), so likely yes, it is the same bug.
