Suspend on Ubuntu with 5700U : must force shutdown en reboot to exit suspend mode
Hello.
Sorry for not using any template because I'm not sure of the cause for this bug.
First, the computer : Dell Inspiron 15 3525 with AMD Ryzen 7 5700U / 16 Go RAM Ubuntu 22.10 with backports enabled
Problem : when closing lid and entering suspend mode or when selecting suspend mode myself in Gnome menu, the computer goes to suspend (I guess) because monitor goes to black and all seems to go "sleeping". When I open the lid, press any key or even press few seconds on power button... it does nothing.
To power on the computer, I must "force shutdown" pressing about 10/15 seconds on power button AND without charging cable plugged. Then I can power it on gain as usual pressing 2 seconds on power button. No resume on activities, etc.
I tried a lot of kernels, from Ubuntu directly AND from mainline repository through "mainline" software.
As per tody and 6.8-RC7... nothing changed.
I can provide logs if asked of course.
I read on Phoronix about patches which were dedicated to solve this kind of problems : https://www.phoronix.com/news/AMD-Linux-Fix-SR-Wakeups (august 2023) but... still present.
Suspend mode works flawlessly on Windows 11
