[AMD RX 6950XT] Occasional green screen on high GPU load
Brief summary of the problem:
When the system is on high load (usually during gameplay), the system randomly presents a green screen on all displays, and then shuts down after a few seconds and reboots.
I have tried to remedy this issue by disabling runtime power management, and running applications with high or low performance level.
I was able to reliably provoke a crash previously by running memtestCL for 20 rounds over the entire memory, but setting the workarounds mentioned above seemed to at least fix the problem there.
The green screen started to appear frequently again with the latest Warframe update, which reworked the lighting engine if I recall correctly. The other two games where I noticed a crash were Deep Rock Galactic, while using a mod that also changed lighting, and Journey.
