flickering and display corruption with linux-next-20230918 and mesa-23.1.{6,7}

On debian sid with kernel version linux-next-20230918 xfce4 shows flickering and display corruption (whole screen degrades to small colored rectangles). The error appear after about 10-20min of browsing with firefox and watching youtube. This does not seem to leave traces in logs and can be stopped by logging out of xfce and logging in again, but usually the errors reappear after another 10-20min. linux-6.6-rc1 seems to be free of the error.
