No output on secondary display with 7900x iGPU with kernel 6.4.2+

Brief summary of the problem:

With every kernel version after 6.4.1 I don't have video output on my secondary display (connected via HDMI), the monitor is correctly recognized but no output even playing with settings or turning off-on the display

Hardware description:

• CPU: Ryzen 9 7900x
• GPU: 14:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Raphael [1002:164e] (rev c2)
• System Memory: 32GB 6000Mhz
• Display(s): 1st Benq 32" 4k, 2nd Dell 25" 2k
• Type of Display Connection: 1st DP, 2nd HDMI

System information:

• Distro name and Version: Fedora Linux 38
• Kernel version: Fedora 6.4.4
• Custom kernel: custom Cachy bore lto, it works with 6.4.1, broken with newer
• AMD official driver version: N/A (mesa)

How to reproduce the issue:

Install latest kernel and try 2 monitor setup

Log files (for system lockups / game freezes / crashes)

TO make sure we're not fighting something already fixed and backported can you please reproduce this on 6.4.7? There's some MST fixes that came after 6.4.1.

If you can still reproduce it, please drm.debug=0x116 log_buf_len=20M on kernel command line.

Yes confirmed even with 6.4.7.dmesg.txt, FYI my secondary display is on HDMI. If you need more specific logs/info just ask!

Retried with new firmware package from fedora repo & 6.4.7 and the issue is gone! I'll close the issue.

@guarascio.daniele - which version of the firmware is that? Issue still exists for me.

Ah, the one in testing. Just installed but for me the issue is still existing. @superm1 I've saved the dmesg output, do you want me to create a new issue? My set-up is different: 3 monitors and a Radeon RX 460.
