[Regression] amdgpu: update from 5.10.140-1 to 5.10.149-1 and -2 breaks boot on computers with R7 cards
Brief summary of the problem:
The screen becomes black during boot when switching to the high resolution. Absolutely nothing is logged even when removing quiet from the grub cmdline. This regression must be introduced between Debian kernel 5.10.140-1 to 5.10.149-1.
The bug is also reported on Debian: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1022042#105
There is a fix for a very similar bug in 5.10.149-2 which was also introduced between 5.10.140-1 to 5.10.149-1 but for other CPUs and GPUs: #2216 (comment 1600173) I reported there that the fix does not resolve the problem for Intel/R7 users but @agd5f closed the bug and requested to open a new bug so i created this.
