import failure with Python 3.10
Importing the current release of dbus in Python 3.10 yields an import error. The problem was fixed in the repository a while back. Version 3.10 is in the release process - it is time for a new dbus-python release.
Using Python 3.7:
>>> from collections import Sequence
__main__:1: DeprecationWarning: Using or importing the ABCs from 'collections' instead of from 'collections.abc' is deprecated, and in 3.8 it will stop working
Using Python 3.10:
import dbus.service
.nox/test/lib/python3.10/site-packages/dbus/service.py:35: in <module>
from collections import Sequence
E ImportError: cannot import name 'Sequence' from 'collections' (/opt/hostedtoolcache/Python/3.10.0-beta.3/x64/lib/python3.10/collections/__init__.py)
