Ability to block certain BSSIDs for connection
Currently, the only way to control what BSSID is used for network is by forcing it to single acceptable value. However, in some use cases, it's more useful to block connections to specific BSSIDs instead.
wpa_supplicant already supports blocking arbitrary BSSIDs, meaning that it's up to NM to expose this functionality to its users. A possible interface would be a bssid-blocked
array of strings property for wireless settings (possibly with bssid-allowed
counterpart, thus deprecating current bssid
property).
