[Feature Request] NM should have a config option to ignore the XF86WLAN key
Currently, it seems that NetworkManager will always catch this key event and use it as a signal to software toggle the state of the WiFi radio. This presents a problem, as it doesn't allow the key to be re-mapped or re-purposed. Furthermore, it makes creating modifier keybindings with this key virtually impossible. An example use case (among many), would be a custom script and/or keybinding for Shift
+WiFi
that toggles the state of the WWAN modem.
This is currently not possible as the daemon catches the key event regardless, but, could be possible if a global config option were added to NetworkManager.conf
to ignore the key.
