Incorrect syntax of the MAC address in the network profile
Summary
I encountered the following problem after installing Debian 12.5 Bookworm: if during the system installation, select the network settings option "manually" and enter the correct data, then after starting the installed system, there is a syntax error in the network profile file "/etc/NewtworkManager/system-connections/...", shown in the attached screenshots. Because of this, this network profile is distributed "as a template" to further connected network devices such as USB-Ethernet adapters, etc. I'm not sure if this is really an NM error, but I thought it would be better to report it.
Version affected
NMcli - 1.42.4 Debian 12.5 Bookworm GNOME version 43.9
Steps to reproduce
- When installing the system, configure the network manually by specifying the correct data to connect to your network
Actual result
The network profile is not linked to the interface and extends to other interfaces of the system
Expected result
The network profile created during the installation of the system is linked to a specific interface and does not affect other system interfaces that the user connects later
