Segfault 11

Since the commits of 13 Nov, 2019, the server segfaults with code 11. Reverting to 562c7888 fixes the problem. I see /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/modesetting_drv.so being mentioned in the error log. It might be important to know that I use an intel/nvidia hybrid setup with optimus-manager.

Reproduce:

boot and let gdm/gnome handle the server startup. We never enter a GUI and stay with a blinking cursor in tty1.
