Vsync on GNOME wayland syncs to 58Hz

I know this is an duplicate of already reported bug but that one got closed because it got fixed for Sway but its not even close to fixed on GNOME Wayland and resoults in missed frames. IDK if anybody is working on a fix for this but this for me is an real issue that has to get solved and high refresh rate monitors are becoming more and more popular even for normal people and having 58Hz in some apps instead of lets say 120Hz is a big deal. I can imagine this is huge issue with Fedora since they default to GNOME wayland.
