In our research lab we have several dual head setups where the second head and second keyboard/mouse are placed (trough long cables) in a silent booth. Regularly the X server gives up with a fatal server error saying "Wrong event type 0".
It's not really reproducible but it may happen several times a day (our researchers are losing data because of it). It looks as if it's related to using the second mouse (PS/2). I recently upgraded from Ubuntu lucid to maveric and also replaced the hardware, so I can't say which change triggers the problem.
Running ubuntu 10.10, kernel 2.6.38.8 (with adeos ipipe patch applied for Xenomai 2.6.0), radeon driver
