I'm running fedora 24:-
kernel 4.7.5-200.fc24.x86_64
libva-intel-driver-1.7.2-1.fc24.x86_64
intel-graphics-update-tool-2.0.2-24.intel20162.x86_64

intellinuxgraphics-repo-2.0.2-24.intel20162.noarch
cairo-1.15.2-24.intel20162.x86_64
The driver never recognises the second monitor, xrandr reports

1024x768 0.00
800x600 0.00
640x480 0.00
This monitor is connected to the onboard displayport, the second monitor was connected via the HDMI port, it was never recognised. I now have it connected via USB-C to displayport adapter it still is never recognised.
lsusb reports Bus 003 Device 002: ID 1fc9:5002 NXP Semiconductors
When I disconnect the first monitor and boot with the second via HDMI it comes up.
How do I get the second monitor recognised ?
