I'm running fedora 24:- kernel 4.7.5-200.fc24.x86_64 libva-intel-driver-1.7.2-1.fc24.x86_64 intel-graphics-update-tool-2.0.2-24.intel20162.x86_64 xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.99.917-24.20160712.fc24.x86_64 cairo-gobject-1.15.2-24.intel20162.x86_64 intellinuxgraphics-repo-2.0.2-24.intel20162.noarch cairo-1.15.2-24.intel20162.x86_64 The driver never recognises the second monitor, xrandr reports Screen 0: minimum 640 x 480, current 2560 x 1440, maximum 2560 x 1440 default connected primary 2560x1440+0+0 0mm x 0mm 2560x1440 0.00* 1280x1024 0.00 1024x768 0.00 800x600 0.00 640x480 0.00 This monitor is connected to the onboard displayport, the second monitor was connected via the HDMI port, it was never recognised. I now have it connected via USB-C to displayport adapter it still is never recognised. lsusb reports Bus 003 Device 002: ID 1fc9:5002 NXP Semiconductors When I disconnect the first monitor and boot with the second via HDMI it comes up. How do I get the second monitor recognised ?
