xmodmap in ~/.xinitrc not working anymore

Description

On my gentoo System xorg was updated to 7.4 (xorg-server-1.4) and now I need to call "xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap" from a xterm after starting, then it works. Not the .xinitrc call anymore :-/
