Double scroll wheel events in Xwayland

After just having updated my system from Xwayland 22.1.3-1 to 22.1.4-1, I am frequently receiving scroll wheel events twice in programs running in Xwayland. It happens roughly every other scroll "tick". I have tried both wlroots/sway, as well as KDE, and it reproduces in both. It does not reproduce in KDE when running in X11, only Wayland.

It also seems to happen regardless of application as I have verified it both in Minecraft, Firefox, and xev. I also tried checking libinput debug-events, where scroll events only show up once.

Update: I downgraded to 22.1.3-1 again, with no other package modified, and it stopped again.
