Tearing issues with AMD Renoir+Nvidia GPUs: Tearing, stuttering and choppyness

Since xorg-server version 1.20.13, i am getting performance issues (stutter and choppyness) on an Optimus laptop (Lenovo Ideapad 3 Gaming ARH015), on PRIME offload or using the nvidia card as primary display output. Modesetting for nvidia driver is enabled as per "/sys/module/nvidia_drm/parameters/modeset" Testing was done on Kubuntu 21.04 and Arch linux latest, where Arch has 1.20.13 and Kubuntu 21.04 sports 1.20.11. On Arch the issues was (and is) present. Kubuntu is not. On Arch i tried multiple driver versions (450, 460 and 470, even the 495 driver), various kernels and mesa/mesa-git versions and xf86-video-amdgpu(git too). I did the same on Kubuntu, but going back to xorg-server 1.20.11 fixes the issues.
