Annoying compose sequence: <C> <C> <C> <P>

Description

libX11/nls/en_US.UTF-8/Compose.pre contains the definition

<Multi_key> <C> <C> <C> <P> : "☭" U262D # HAMMER AND SICKLE

which seems of limited use to me but (as far as I understand) makes it impossible to map <Multi_key> <C> <C> to ℂ. Would it be conceivable to use a different compose sequence for ☭, or remove the definition altogether? Thanks.
