New C.utf8 alias for en_US.UTF-8 locale
Hi,
recently i was investigating an issue with xterm where change of system locale to C.utf8 which is a valid locale name (according to locale -a) caused bad interpretation of certain characters (like č) and warning was displayed Warning: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C
. I found out that this issue is caused by a missing alias for en_US.UTF-8 locale. Xlib did not recognize C.utf8 and set locale to C. There is already one alias for it in locale.alias.pre:18
C.UTF-8: en_US.UTF-8
So i think it could be useful to have one more for C.utf8. What is your opinion on this?
