System does not resume from suspend

Description
My system does not wake from suspend. Suspending seems to work correctly, but when I press the power button to wake, the screens of the system stay black. I could ping the system, but not log in by ssh.
I'm using the nouveau driver, with the nvidia driver the system did wake up correctly.
