Kernel 5.0 and above suspend issue
From Linux 5.0 I can't use suspension on my notebook. I have a GeForce 9600M GT graphic card. It is equiped on my old but good HP Dv5-1199el notebook.
I used nouveau driver for at least one year with great stability and no other issues. I used it primary on arch with kernel 4.19 (it was the LTS kernel, at that time), but I used it on many other distros, with the same satisfation.
In the same way, in all distros, from linux 5.0 and above, I can't use suspension anymore. When I try to suspend it, after few minutes, it goes in suspend state, but when I try to resume it, it remains with black screen or print a strange drawing, with no possibility of inputs.
With nvidia-340xx drivers I can use suspension working properly on recent kernel versions. Like I tried to describe here
Now, if I use the LTS 4.19.x kernel, I can use suspension working properly with nouveau driver.
Let me know if you need more informations about this issue. Thank you.
