Scroll wheel no longer working

Issue

Upon updating to xf86-input-libinput-1.2.0-1 and rebooting the system, scroll wheel events are no longer emitted when using ckb-next.

Info

xev is reporting no scroll wheel events when ckb-next-daemon is active, however, libinput record is displaying them.

The author for ckb-next believes this to be an issue with this package as ckb-next only sends scroll events via uinput.

Scroll wheel functionality returns when either:

  • ckb-next-daemon is stopped; or
  • xf86-input-libinput is downgraded to 1.1.0-1.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
