please add linux support back
Currently, the two alternatives to xf86-input-keyboard are libinput and evdev, both of which require udev. While the libudev requirement can be fairly easily patched out of evdev, to work without udev one then has to manually configure each input device, while I'm currently able to use my keyboard in xorg with no configuration for it and no udev, using xf86-input-keyboard. Linux support was removed due to it including GPL code taken from kbdrate.c, previously in util-linux, currently part of kbd. However, the functions taken from kbdrate.c were KDKBDREP_ioctl_ok and KIOCSRATE_ioctl_ok, both of which were removed from lnx_kbd.c in commit ae630aef. Because there was no actually GPL licensed code in the linux support prior to its removal, there is no licensing problem, and it would be nice for its removal to be reverted.
