Add a verbose output option to xdg tools
Hi,
I'm using xdg-open
on different files but in many cases nothing happens. I would like to be able to see what's going on here, using something like xdg-open --verbose
, and xdg-mime --verbose
Example:
$ wget https://www.google.com/images/branding/googlelogo/1x/googlelogo_color_272x92dp.png
# file --mime-type returns the correct filetype
$ file --mime-type googlelogo_color_272x92dp.png
googlelogo_color_272x92dp.png: image/png
# but xdg-mime query filetype returns nothing
$ xdg-mime query filetype googlelogo_color_272x92dp.png
Is it possible to imagine adding some log debugs ?
Thanks
