An attempt to fix #226 (closed). Quick testing didn't show any regressions, but I'm not very familiar with wayland architecture and thus do not know if any additional changes are necessary.
Due to an influx of spam, we have had to impose restrictions on new accounts. Please see this wiki page for instructions on how to get full permissions. Sorry for the inconvenience.
