Weston systemd manual - No active login session!
I was following the manual how to create a session at tty7 for Weston. https://wayland.pages.freedesktop.org/weston/toc/running-weston.html#running-weston-from-a-systemd-service
According to the system service mysession.service. It will start a session at tty7. And below the mysession.service, there is a text that says
Checking if that worked could be done by verifying with loginctl that there’s an active login with the default seat0 assigned on that particular tty.
When I do that, I can only see my session at ttySTM0 (USB serial) which is active and tty7 (the Weston session) which is online only. Not active.
That means that this session tty7 is not logged (not active) in, hence online.
Question:
What should be changed inside the manual of enabling Weston with systemd, so it can preform a proper login for tty7 session? Whithout that proper login, the user service weston.service, won't start!
The weston software it self working fine! It's only the manual that not giving correct configuration for session login for tty7.
