[Question or Discussion] Is Backend Switching possible?

I want Weston to be able to switch sessions via RDP like Windows does.

I'm not familiar with Weston, but it seems like need a specific backend when starting up Weston (server).

Session switching will also require modifications to other Linux programs (eg gdm3). But leaving this aside, I wonder if Weston can support this.

Even if Weston doesn't currently support it, I'd like to know if the architecture will have great difficulty supporting it.
