RDP connection fails on Debian: peer_recv_pdu() fail

After several months, I tried again the Weston/RDP setup that used to work, and it fails on connect the same way from both Remmina and Vinagre:

[32127:32127] [ERROR][com.freerdp.core.peer] - peer_recv_callback: CONNECTION_STATE_CAPABILITIES_EXCHANGE - peer_recv_pdu() fail
[32127:32127] [ERROR][com.freerdp.core.transport] - transport_check_fds: transport->ReceiveCallback() - -1
unable to checkDescriptor for 0x56017deb59c0

Full Weston log: rdp-loki.txt

The Debian version of FreeRDP installed is 2.0.0~git20190204.1.2693389a+dfsg1-1+deb10u2.

This is not due to Weston changes, the old Weston binary that used to work fails the same. This might be due to FreeRDP update in Debian and I'm trying to look into that.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
