Switching from fullscreen to maximized state doesn't work (desktop-shell)

Switching from fullscreen state to maximized state (via keyboard shortcut Super + Shift + M) just resizes maximized window. Next use of this keyboard shortcut closes (or crashes?) window.

In addition user cannot switch to another workspace (up or down) while window is in fullscreen mode or after window exits fullscreen mode via shortcut (Super + Shift + F)
