How do I move a window using Wayland?
Heya, I'm the maker of a mod of a game called Fading Memory that is mainly focused on 4th wall puzzles. One of the puzzles in the mod revolves the game window moving itself, as well as another the player "shaking" the game window. Internally, the mod uses SDL2 to handle this. From what I can tell, Wayland does not support this kind of behavior at all, and so SDL will not move or grab the window positions at all. It works just fine on X, and after doing some quick googling around Wayland does not support moving the window in the way I would like to. The developers of Wayland seem to be against the idea entirely because they can't find a good use case as highlighted by these comments on an issue created because someone has a similar problem to me.
I'm not about to take away an otherwise cool puzzle mechanic because an experimental X replacement that is only used by like 15 people won't add an otherwise sensible feature, so what is a way I can get around this limitation (in C or C++) even if it is very hacky?
