vrend: sitrct gl error checking leads to unpredictable app compatibility issues
There's a 3rd app-compat issue raised from the strict error checking added in 8d452da8. Asphalt 9 can hit the error and then the game scene starts looping in the guest. The impact is bad because it hits stable channel, while the reproducing is random.
Prior mitigations:
Can we demote this to a warning instead? or we have to add an option to disable the strict error checking like what was initially done in !793 (merged)
