Corruption on i7-8559U
I have been getting strange graphical corruptions when enabling virgil3d, as you can see from the video I've attached I am using sway (Wayland) as my desktop environment, the virtual machine is a recent Kali Linux install. I'm using an Intel NUC, NUC8i7BEH, with mesa-20.1.2-1 on Arch Linux x64. QEMU 5.0.0.
Relevant XML snippets:
<graphics type="spice">
<listen type="none"/>
<image compression="off"/>
<gl enable="yes" rendernode="/dev/dri/by-path/pci-0000:00:02.0-render"/>
</graphics>
<video>
<model type="virtio" heads="1" primary="yes">
<acceleration accel3d="yes"/>
</model>
<address type="pci" domain="0x0000" bus="0x00" slot="0x01" function="0x0"/>
</video>
As you can see from the video, if I choose between different rendering backends in the virtual machine, or if I turn vsync on or off in the virtual machine, the artifacts might consume the entire window or only certain parts.
I'm a programmer, so perhaps I can help debug this. Let me know what else I can provide.
