Description
battery status in gnome-shell's system tray (right top corner) shows status icons which are not expected at real battery percentage. They are reusing what get_device_charge_icon() calculates.
Steps to reproduce: Use a laptop, run gnome-shell, let battery drain, watch battery status (percent and icon)
What happens: Battery percentage doesn't match battery status icon: At 31%, status shows the "good" icon with 2 of 3 bars. Icon shows 2/3 bars which I read as "mostly full". 31% is far from "mostly full".
What should happen: Battery icon status should roughly match battery percentage.
Suggested solution: empty: should be 0%…25% low: should be 25%…50% good: should be 50%…75% full: should be 75%…100%
Alternative solution: empty: 0%…10% low: 10%…40% good: 40%…70% full: 70%…100%
