"MX Keys Wireless Keyboard" falsely detected as a mouse

upower falsely detects my "MX Keys Wireless Keyboard" as a mouse instead of a keyboard.
it enumerates it as a mouse as /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/mouse_hidpp_battery_0
and reports the following information
