[Thinkpad] Very odd looking/Corrupt stats from UPower
I'm having an issue on my X1E Thinkpad where upower reports very odd data:
native-path: BAT0
vendor: 610<)*5 $
model: 5B10V<)*5 $
serial: 240
power supply: yes
updated: Sat 11 Jan 2020 05:58:47 PM PST (19 seconds ago)
has history: yes
has statistics: yes
battery
present: yes
rechargeable: yes
state: discharging
warning-level: none
energy: 38.25 Wh
energy-empty: 0 Wh
energy-full: 75.6 Wh
energy-full-design: 80.4 Wh
energy-rate: 41.192 W
voltage: 14.628 V
time to empty: 55.7 minutes
percentage: 50%
capacity: 94.0299%
technology: lithium-polymer
icon-name: 'battery-good-symbolic'
As you can see, the "Vendor" and "Model" strings are very wrong, what is output seems to change every reboot.
Unfortunately, this wrong information also seems to effect the energy levels as well, causing the laptop to send random data.
